Nithya arrived at RTU at the age of 7 after her parents abandoned her and left her with her elderly grandmother.

She was traumatised by her parents' violent arguments and struggled to settle in her new home.

Her grandmother, finding it difficult to cope, brought Nithya to RTU and asked us to help.

We welcomed the vulnerable little girl into our family, where she is thriving. She has a loving home with one of our foster mothers in our Miriam Children's Village and is enjoying her lessons at our Arulmalar Primary School.
