The Reverse Goat Scheme We have probably
all seen charity catalogues inviting us to give goats to our
nearest and dearest. Or rather, they get the warm feeling—and a
third world villager gets the goat (or something else useful).
This is the other way round. If you receive birthday presents,
or anniversary or Christmas gifts, from friends or family
members, why not suggest they make a donation to RTU instead.
We will write and thank them and send some information about the
work; and then at least one more quarterly Newsletter. Ask
for a supply of leaflets to give to those you would like to
invite to take part. |
