Students from the poorest families in South India are able to gain the education they need through our network of schools and other educational programmes. The children benefit from small class sizes and excellent teaching. We provide uniforms and stationery for every child, as well as after school support. The high pass rates in State examinations means that many of those we educate are qualified to enter further education, helping to lift them and their families out of poverty.

School attendance also includes school meals, of course. For many of the children we teach this may be their main meal of the day, so we make a particular effort to ensure that what we serve to every child each school day is nutritious and filling, helping to keeping the pupils strong and healthy.
