Our mother Stella sadly passed away on Friday the 10th July. Reaching the Unreached (RTU) was a charity very close to her and our late father’s hearts.

Over the years they had donated to build homes, helped a water project as well as sponsoring two children.

They spent many hours sorting through used postage stamps collected from two local parishes to sell to dealers to raise funds for the much needed work that RTU do in helping marginalised and disadvantaged children in rural South India. Mum carried on doing this when Lance, her husband, our father left us five years ago.

So we, her children - Anthony, Paul, Bill, Loz and Erica - believe it would be a fitting tribute, as well as Stella’s wish (as she was never one to waste money) that she be remembered with something long lasting and beneficial as the work done by the RTU.
