Our Home Support programme enables disadvantaged children living in extreme poverty in rural communities to attend school on a regular basis.

We provide financial assistance to their families so that they can afford to send their children to school rather than having to contribute to the household income or look after younger siblings. This also helps buy essentials such as uniforms and books.

We also help raise the educational attainment of children attending local village schools by providing extra support in evening study centres for children, so that they can do well in state examinations and eventually go to college, some with the help of our JK Scholarship Fund.

Our education outreach activities also include the mobile science laboratories that travel to schools in rural areas, reaching over 6,300 children each year. Often schools have no science equipment so children do not do well in science subjects.
