We have just been out to visit RTU and seen the fantastic work that they do. The work that is carried out is humbling and awe inspiring, so we, at St Joseph's Catholic and Anglican High School, want to build a house - please help us raise the money
Ray was a great supporter of Reaching the Unreached for many years and so we, his family, wish to raise funds for this fantastic charity in his memory.
Reaching the Unreached is a far-reaching grassroots organisation that has already achieved an enormous amount in empowering the most marginalised and disadvantaged people in rural South India. For my forthcoming birthday, please help raise enough to build two houses for vulnerable families
Without the support of RTU's self-help groups, many women from the poorest villages in South India struggle with the basic needs of their family. With the start these groups provide, they are empowered, educated and confident not just to provide for their families, but also to create lasting change in their communities.
We have visited RTU three times and are always blown away with the energy and enthusiasm of everyone at RTU. They are dedicated to helping vulnerable children and the most disadvantaged in the rural villages where they work.
I've been lucky enough to visit India several times and this project has really stood out. It is a far-reaching grassroots organisation working in rural villages to empower the most marginalised and disadvantaged people in rural South India.
Since first visiting Brother James, the founder of RTU, in 1982, I have been most impressed by their work with the most destitute people of that area of Tamil Nadu in South India
I am choosing this fantastic charity, Reaching the Unreached, as it has always been close to my heart. From a young age, we fundraised as a family and through St Peter's School in Bournemouth where me and my three children studied, so I have followed the wonderful work they have done over many years
This year's Brother Lionel Sponsored Walk is taking place on Sunday 3rd October in Poole Park. You can help raise vital funds for Reaching the Unreached by supporting our walkers!
This page is raising funds for Reaching the Unreached in South India in loving memory of Ann Sargent who supported the charity for many years.
I wanted to run for the London Marathon for a charity that has not had the opportunity in the past and is a cause that is close to people I know. Although the May event had to be cancelled, I am now taking part in the virtual one on Sunday 4th October to raise vital funds for RTU
